Tv powers on with green light sony picture stays up on screen for a couple seconds than cuts out. I can hear clearly but can barely make out picture i thought the light blew but i wouldnt think that the sony display would come on everytime i reset the tv. Iv unplugged everything multiple times just to get the same result . looking for input before i junk it.

don’t junk it just yet. It is entirely possible that this is a power board issue. Remove the back of your Tv and take a look at all the boards. check for obviously damaged components like leaking or domed looking capacitors etc. Post some images of your boards etc. with your question so that we can see what you see. Use this guide Ajout d'images à une question existante for that. You can of course also check the power board output to the LED’ backlight with a multimeter.
