Stripped screw of battery compartment

The battery compartment of the Roomba 770 has two screws. One of the two screws is completely stripped.

There is no remainder of the original drive slots. I tried putting some rubber sheet between the screw head and the screwdriver tip to increase traction, no result.

I want to access the battery compartment to put in the new battery I bought, as the screw is stripped I have no means of opening it. Everything else is intact. Can I somehow work my way around this? How can I remove the stripped screw? If necessary to buy addtional tools: I do not have much budget for this project.

Tools I own:

BLACK+DECKER Li2000 3.6-Volt 3 Position Rechargeable Screwdriver

Black & Decker 71-081 Double Ended Screwdriving Bit Set, 10-Piece

Hope so these troubleshooting guide can help you!

Check if your Black & Decker bit set includes any bits that might fit more snugly into the stripped screw head. Sometimes, a different bit type or size can gain enough grip to loosen the screw.

Apply a small amount of super glue to the tip of a wooden or plastic dowel, and insert it into the stripped screw head. Allow it to dry completely. Once dry, turn the dowel counterclockwise to hopefully unscrew the screw.

Now the final method that may work If you have access to a soldering iron, gently heat the stripped screw for a minute or so. Then, use your screwdriver to turn it counterclockwise. The heat can sometimes help break the bond of corrosion or old adhesive.
