Screen wont go any further than honor logo

About a year ago I dropped my phone into toilet ( i know its disgusting) and after I cleaned and dried it, it shows that its charging but every few seconds screen turns black and when the battery is charged enough honor logo in blue screen will appear and stay like that for as long as battery is charged. Where should i start looking for problem, can i still fix it or its not possible ?
