Hello, please look in the cavity below the tilting seat - should be a plate/decal with mfgr's name and FULL model # along with a serial number. Post back with the model #

Have the same problem but mine is measuring 82' it's a 16hp motor 42 inch cut? Would you happen to know what the deck belt number is for the size I'm needing?

Hello Samantha Boone, please check in the cavity below the tilting seat - there should be a plate/decal with the full model number along with a serial number. Post back with the model number.

Solution retenue

Brandon Pickell K-Gro was an MTD mower made for K-mart. The belt should be the same as for an MTD deck. Going by the year most likely a 954-0485. If you still have the old belt use a tape measure and measure the length of the belt. If it is around 97 inches you know that it will fit. If it is 100 inches and 1/2 wide the belt will be a 954-05021

I have a kgro 18 hp 42 inch deck and let me just say this 91 inch belt too big 82 inch too small so I don't think old Turkey knows his kgro belt sizes or decks for horsepower to good.

@tonyspennati yep, you are probably right. That is why I mentioned to go ahead and measure it. The importance here is that we need to always be critical of other peoples answer and ensure that we have the right answer when we do so.
