How do you replace the screen?

If the repair cost $125, is it better to just send it in for repairs?

Here is a youtube video to do the repair: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IDfau3C...

It all depends on how comfortable you are with removing phone parts and buying the new ones and installing them properly. If you do not have any experience, then the $125 would be the easiest thing to do. If you attempt to make the repair without any experience, you may end up damaging your phone and having to buy a new one.

That is awesome to know! Do you know about any issues when it comes to replacing the screen and the digitizer doesn’t function anymore? We replaced the screen and it will work, but once we power cycle it then the screen won’t respond to touch... any insight?

Thanks!

That video looks familiar lol. I am working on a Moto Z3 Play screen replacement today, so I will be making a video for that at some point. So far it looks the same, but it looks very similar, just with the cable on the left instead of the right.

@mattofrwr , did you make that video for the Z3?
