Picture disappears after a minute, sound is ok
When I switch on my TV everything is fine but the picture disappears after about a minute. The sound is fine.

Annette Morrissey could be a lot of things. you do want to go ahead and when the TV screen is dark but you do have sound, shine a flashlight beam at an angle against the screen. If you can make out shapes etc. then this is a backlight issue. If not then it could be a mainboard, power board or t-con board issue. we would need to know the exact model of your TV as wella s the chassis number if you can get it from the label. If you want to remove the back of your TV and take some good pictures of the boards as well as the interconnect cables. Post those with your question so we can see what you see. @solomonwilliams you won't be able to add those on here. Let's start off by creating a new Question for you. What is the make and model of your TV? what are the issues with that TV? What have you checked and tried to fix it?
