Stuck on the in touch with tomorrow Toshiba screen

I will turn on my laptop by pressing the home button and the logo with the saying “ in touch with tomorrow Toshiba”

at the bottom it says f2 for set up and f12 for boot menu. I have pressed both buttons and both seems to go to set up and boot menu but doesn’t do anything at all. I have tried taking out the battery and pressing the button down for 60 seconds and still nothing has worked .. help also found a screw in my bed could possibly fell out of my laptop from the bottom but all seemed to be fine underneath I really don’t know where it came from. I need help???
