Can you get a sata to logic board adapter?
i see there is space for a 2nd hard drive in the mac mini mid 2011 but what about the cable you need for the motherboard?

Wait a month and there will be knock offs of the Apple cable. Check with OWC as they will probably have it first.

I see a second data port on the logic board in the teardown. The flex cable for the hard drive in the 2010 machine is Apple Part # 076-1360. I could not find a picture of it but there's a very good chance this will work. http://www.myservice.com/store/076-1360-...

It is an Apple proprietary cable, and the only one that will currently work is the Apple one. So, if you plan to add the second drive you need to get a second Apple proprietary cable.

It is for 2010 model, but also works on 2011... see youtube for step by step instructions
