Where are the LSIs located specifically?

Are the LSIs under the black film covering for the keyboard or on it or both, and can you remove this covering?

I have checked various postings here and elsewhere (appleinsider) and they do not seem to match this hardware.

I have someone who has brought me a MBP that is suspect. I see 4 white dots on the upper case but are not sure if these are LSIs. One is on the front of the touchpad in front of the adjustment screw, and one on the back just right of the cable. One is under the right corner of the space bar as you would look from the top. One is under the U key. These are the only ones I see. I would prefer to know whether there is water damage before spending any more time on this.

Also, I have read somewhere that the new MBPs have blue dots that turn white, not white dots that turn red.

Thanks.

So are these under that black covering for the keyboard and can I remove it without damaging anything?

I just checked out the old links that I gave you and both have changed. Apple may be trying to hide this information. I will continue to look.

MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Early 2011 Teardown has a great picture of the upper case and the white dots that I see. In the first picture in step 14, you can see all four. I would circle them and upload, but I do not know how to do that. Thanks for the help.

Also, I think one link is:

That's my original link. Maybe the copy and paste from the old question didn't get it all. Thanks
