My camera has been sitting in the closest for 8 months to 1 year. I bought this intending to learn it but never had the time. I don’t want to mess anything up. Do I just change the battery on the bottom? Thanks

If the lithium battery pack isn't charging then yes you will need to replace it. See:

I have the same problem. I replaced the battery and still does not turn on. Not sure if I need to send it in for repair, and not sure where? Thanks
