Car will not start, no clicking or cranking. Replaced battery and star

I have a 95 Camry not starting. I found an exposed wire on the starter and replaced with a remanufactured part. It drove for a few days after that just fine but now won't do anything again. There was some acid seeping on the top of the battery so I was able to replace it free under warranty. I don't get any clicks or crank when I turn the key. Wiring to the starter all looks good to me. What's next? Ignition switch/ cylinder? Help!

Check the battery connections, they may have loosened some since it was replaced recently. Retighten all connections then check to be sure the battery has voltage enough to start the engine.

It was replaced this morning and I tightened it all back up. Brand new battery but I don't have a gage in the dash.

When turning the key to start are there any dash lights or indicators showing?

Yeah, dash lights come on and it dings if the door is open.

Re check all connections and fuses.

Also check voltage of battery 12.8v is a full charge 12.2v is considered flat and may not be enough to start.

Hi @dschnur72

Check your fuse box for a blown fuse. There are usually two boxes one under the hood and another somewhere near or under the steering wheel. After taking the cover off, you should see a diagram of which fuse it could be. While checking for blown fuses, give the starter solenoid a couple of good whacks with a small tool to see if that’s the problem.

I haven't gone through all the fuses yet but replaced the starter relay. It looked good but I already had the part so I put the new one in.
