The plastic wheel has shattered and I can’t unscrew the brass inner ring from the internal spindle

I checked out the links above and there are some repair guides and I looked at mine too! What you need to do is remove the bottom part of the casing (see the repair guides) and get to where you can clamp down on the shaft from the bottom so that you can remove the brass nut / rest of the broken wheel.
