How do I repair damage heating element for carafe?
The burner on carafe side has lost black seal cover and gathers coffee, etc staining carafe. Can this be repaired or replaced? Thank you

From the official Hamilton Beach FAQ, it does not appear that heating elements are repairable or that they will sell internal parts to customers, so you will not be able to get any parts or help from the company. There are a couple replacement guides for heating elements that may help you:

These repairs are both marked as very difficult, so if you don’t have experience with what you’ll need to do, I would suggest returning the coffee maker and buying a new one.

Thank you. I wanted to ask about how to replace the coating on the surface of the carafe heating element. It has come off and needs sealing again. The heating element seems okay. Thank you for responding to my question.
Ah, I see! I can't find anything about the coating online, all I'm seeing is the physical rubber seals. I would contact the company directly or a worker at wherever you bought the coffee maker and see if they can provide any help.
The hot plate itself is a separate part from the heating element beneath it. Not a clue on recoating it though and I'm having trouble sourcing just the heating element that opened up on my unit that's just a year old.
