Roller works for about 10 seconds then light turns red
Roller runs for about 10 seconds then if you turn off and on it does same thing

well, without more specifics about what turns off and what light are you talking about, what did you expect for an answer?
My guess == the light is indicating the roller is jambed. You need to clean it out.
