Hi @mrmee,
Its very unlikely that there is an update available for your tablet, judging by the version of Android its using it seems quite old.
Could you provide us with the exact model tablet?
It is possible to download an install different versions of android by rooting the device and installing a custom ROM. But I would not recommend doing so because it could either brick your tablet if you’re not doing it right or it could become really slow.
