Touch does not work anymore (Series 1)

Hi!

the screen has detached from the watch (series1). The touch worked.

I followed the guide, I removed the battery, the screen, I cleaned and I put the new adhesive glue.

I mounted everything, the screen turns on clearly as before but the touch does not work.

What happened?

What do you suggest that I do then? Thanks!

Did you damage the force touch sensor? There’s a little ribbon cable that surrounds the display on the edges. Luckily in the series 1 you can replace it if damaged. In the 3 and 4 I believe that ribbon cable is paired to that specific watch so if it gets damaged or replaced, it won’t pair with a new phone.

I don't think I damaged the force touch. But note sure at this point...

Another issue I forgot to mention before... I connected the screen but I did not paste the screen yet. The screen is "dangling"

Should I have to paste it before? Does the touch work even though it is not attached to the watch?

(I remember it worked before. I have only one adhesive glue and I cannot waste it)

In any case, where do you suggest me to buy a new good force touch?

Thanks!

I buy a lot of my parts from Mobile Sentrix and you can order replacement adhesive from them as well. But yest you will need to at least rest the display on the force touch sensor in order for it to respond, at least that was the case for me when I did one last month.
