My kindle won’t charge. The orange light only comes on for a short time. The battery symbol is on the screen all the time. I’ve checked the charger which is working perfectly.

If you’ve checked the charger, perhaps the battery won’t hold any charge.
I think you need to replace the battery to get it fixed.
