Games take long to read/launch.

I have a PS2 fat that takes 3-5 min to load/launch the game inside. It works fine and plays all discs, just annoying having to wait soo long for games to launch.

I am pretty savvy when it comes to console repair, so I tried fixing it myself. I replaced the laser, the problem was still there. I then replaced the entire disk drive assembly and still has the same issue. Anyone ever fix an issue like this?
