USB headsets not recognized by Windows 10

I just built a PC using a ASUS B550 F-Gaming from Asus. I installed all the drivers updated everything and all works great. Except USB headsets. They work when I use the 3.5mm jack but nothing happens when I plug them in using USB. I tried connecting to different USB ports (2.0 and 3.0) and I tested all USB ports with my external hard drive and testimg them on my laptop, everything works. The LEDs even turn on when I plug them with USB, but Windows doesn't seem to recognize them, it doesnt even list is an unknown device, it's like they aren't even connected at all.

LED’s turning on just means the ports are getting power.

First of all update your BIOS, if you haven’t done this already.

Make sure the latest drivers are installed from the ASUS web site and don’t forget latest chipset driver from AMD:

https://www.amd.com/en/support/chipsets/...

May be uninstall the USB drivers, run a cleaning utility like Advanced System Care, Ccleaner, etc. reboot and reinstall drivers if Windows doesn’t automatically do so.

How is it now?

I can’t remember off hand where the settings are for the USB ports but just cruise through the BIOS/UEFI advanced screen.

You tested all the USB devices on your laptop, right?
