keyboard or logic board connector?

Hi,

so got beer on the top case of the macbook and only part of the keyboard is now working desptie I cleaned it up totally.

Could it be that it's the connector on the board that is damaged ? (cannot see anything)

I'm unsure why only part of the kb is working ...

more than likely you have just damaged the top case of the mbp. If its a 2010 then you need a whole new top case as this contains the keyboard as well. They have a black shield underneath the keyboard so hopefully. To be honest your under warranty, although Apple void a warranty if liquid damaged just be honest with them and they may cover it for you
