I dropped my phone on the floor and now the screen has a black area which is lit up. The phone still works, however I am unable to log in due to needing to press the password manually after a shut down and the black and white area prevents me from interacting with the screen at all. Will getting a new screen solve this issue? And if so, where can I get one? Thanks!

Yes getting a new screen should resolve the issue completely.

Do I need the LCD too or just a new screen?
Thy usually thy come to together that's your best option.

*Update, The black and white area has started turning blue

Now the whole screen is black, looks like paint spread across the whole screen or something
