Samsung Tab A stuck in a boot loop

Hi,

I have a Samsung Tab A stuck in a boot loop after I loaded the original ROM back onto the tablet. I have used this (original Samsung) ROM on a number of Tab A’s with success.

The ROM loaded and the tablet restarted. It goes to Android is upgrading screen and displays “Optimizing app 1 of 1” Then changes to “Starting apps” soon after this it reboots and is stuck in this loop. I don’t seem to be able to get it to load to the factory reset screen, but I can get it to open the screen used to load the custom ROM.
