ONLY the backlight is working before AND after Display replacement

Hello,

I have a problem.

My Iphone 8 had a broken screen and the display no longer showed anything. Only when you turn it on in a dark room you see a glow, from which I conclude that the backlight still works. After I replaced the display, the same error still occurs. Can this be due to the logicboard? It was not my first repair, I already have some experience. Or are there any computer programs with which one can go on troubleshooting?

Options

Sounds like a motherboard issue, especially with the phone’s model. You may have to replace it.

Hi, i had about 4 iphone 6 come in the shop in the last month where the iphone tries to turns on but only the backlight is on. Seems like a software issue. Install itunes to your computer if you don't have already and plug the phone in via lightning cable. If a pop-up comes up saying the iphone needs to be restored, restore it and it should work again.
