will not connect in recovery mode
Computer quit. Rebooted. Start up to white screen. Tried to connect to recovery. Once open back to white screen

Usually a white screen in dictates a hard drive failure. Book up from an external drive to confirm. Run Disk Utilities on the internal drive. If it has failed replace with an SSD. This will extend the life and the speed of the drive dramatically.
