Banging noise only at end of the spin cycle

I’ve got whirlpool top load washer that still making a banging noise at the end of the spin cycle and only at the end of the spin cycle.

It started doing this about 2 weeks ago. After researching, I figured it was the agitator drive block. I changed out the drive block and yes, the old one was all chewed up. I installed the new one exactly like the old, making sure tabs are flush etc. I figured this would solve the issue, but no such luck.

It’s gotten slightly better, but it still shakes the whole house with a banging noise for about the last 3 seconds of the spin cycle. The noise happens when the transmission cycles off and is no longer spinning the tub.

Any ideas? I’m think it might be either the agitator or transmission now. Any help is appreciated.

I do have a video, but it’s not letting me attach here.

Thanks, Jeff

I am guessing it may also happen as the spin cycle is starting. When it is up to speed it appears like it is in balance. As it slows down, or speeds up, it is out of balance. Does it do it without clothes in the washer? If not then it may be a function of the clothes. Maybe overloaded or too many things like heavy towels. If the transmission disengages, how it would be a cause is puzzling. Something is out of balance which caused the drive block to get chewed up. But then my own washer may have this issue and I am not an expert.

That is caused By a stripped drive block and or bent drive tube.
