Mower will not start just crank.

I have the troybilt super bronco riding mower. It will crank but now start. If I spray cleaner in it it starts for a second and stops unless I continue to spray. This makes me think it’s the engine not getting fuel.

the tank has no clogs or kinks in the tubes. The solenoid needle going up and down just fine the carburator is new but sat for like 4 months and I sprayed carb cleaner. Still will not turn over.

PLEASE HELP!

Options

Check the fuel filter, and if that's good, then the pump. It didn't sit long enough to clog the carb completely, I wouldn't think. Wouldn't hurt to open up the carb and give it a good cleaning as well, though.
