Battery charging but not increasing after replacement new battery
Hello there,
I found quite a bit of info about this issue but I can’t figure out what is the cause.
Many posts talk about the FL11 being damaged when disconnecting the battery causing issues with Gas Gauge Capability.
Unfortunately I don’t have anything else to take photo of the pins with, but from what I could tell it should still be there. I downloaded iBackUpBot to confirm and it shows gas gouge as true as you can see in the screenshot.
I bought new charging cable to rule out it’s not an issue, I tried charging it with my USB port on a laptop, I tried using charger from my old HTC with the new cable with no results.
I tried resetting my settings, and finally I put the phone through DFU, still same issue. I don’t know what else should I try. If there are any people who could help it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

UPDATE
Went to see a repair shop and they said it’s not the charging chip or the battery, couldn’t say what was wrong only that ultimately it’s an old phone and not worth repairing. They did say it’s probably bcs of use of aftermarket charging cable.
And so my 5S died when I put a new battery in, strange. Oh well, new phone coming, android this time, bye bye Apple!
