Identifing component on iPhone 4 Logic Board

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can help me here, ive had a customer who attempted a home repair on thier iPhone 4, they managed to snap a little metal connector right at the top of the logic board, to try to explain what i mean, if you view the image below right on the far left of the picture (or top of the iPhone board) there is a metal "thing" i cant really describe it, but when the board is put back into the iPhone this metal "thing" touches the bezel.... my assumtion is it is for WiFi, can anyone else confirm this? Can i solder a small metal piece to the board and have it touching the frame to improve wifi signal if my suspicians are correct?
