Bluetooth and Wifi Antenna Replacement Guide

Thanks for all the ifixit guides and community support. Regarding the Bluetooth and Wifi Antenna Replacement Guide, I just replaced the battery using a different guide on YT but broke the bluetooth and wi-fi antenna. The new battery works but I am reluctant to remove it because it was that process that caused the damage. Albeit more difficult, but is it still possible to replace the bluetooth and wi-fi antenna without removing the battery?

Regards.

If you follow carefully the guide you'll notice the battery doesn't need to be removed, but you'll need to remove the logic board since the antenna connector in on the bottom side of it. See step 33 of the guide for a detailed view:

Thanks for your answer. What are your thoughts on when it is time to remove the existing antenna, is there enough space to use the spudger while the battery is still there?

Anyway I'll order the ifixit kit and give it a go and update sometime if it works. My only other option is to pay nearly £60 including delivery charges to get a repair store (other than extortionate Apple) to do it. Thanks.

@Adam H No need to worry, it's an easy enough task, just warm up a bit the iphone shell to soften the glue that keeps the antenna in place. A hair dryer or a warm heater will be sufficient. The phone should just be warm to the touch, no need to make it hot. A spudger will be all you'll need after you remove the logic board and the vibrating engine.
