I just replaced the battery in my S8+. When I plugged it in to be conditioned, the red light began blinking. I left it on the charged for a couple of hours with no change. I assume I reassembled it wrong, but I do not see anything out of place.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

@geek2150 there is always a possibility that this is a faulty battery. I would consider replacing it one more time to rule out the battery.. Of course there is also a possibility that this is not a battery issue at all. If the symptoms are identical to your previous battery then you may need to check the charging circuitry etc.
