i need to know how to open the phone so can dry it off.

We don't have a teardown here on iFixit as of now, if you have a 2021 model of the Motorola Moto G Pure the video below shows how to take it apart.
Remember to turn the phone off before you start and good luck with drying the phone!

Is the device having problems? A little bit of water every once in a while won't hurt it too much as it has splash resistance (bad news if its submersed). As the above comment says, do open it up and dry it.

Was there liquid in the trash can? What happened to the phone when you dropped it? What is it doing or not doing? Is something broken?
