Replacing display, should I replace frame as well?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 and I'm planning on replacing the display as the one currently on the phone is cracked and doesn't receive touch input on most of the screen surface area.

On the guide it is mentioned that if the frame itself is damaged/dented, it could lead to the new display damaged as well. The S9 I'm going to be working on has had some damage and I'm hoping if anyone here could give me some advice on whether I should go ahead without getting a new frame or replacing the frame and the screen.

I've included photos of the display and frame with and without the screen being on.

This would make the repair easier, but more expensive. Also, if you only replace the display, you will need to make sure you have enough spare adhesive. Display replacement guide: Remplacement de l'écran du Samsung Galaxy S9

So would just replacing the display be alright?

Do you think that the dented frame could interfere with the display and possibly cause damage again?

I don't mind if it's more difficult, but I would like to keep the price cheap. The main thing for me is making sure that the display has no chances of breaking again, the screen on its own is pretty pricey!

@jermia Yes, this would be totally fine. You will need to be very careful to prevent damage.

@guardian10 Hey thanks for the advice! In what aspect do you mean to be careful? Do you mean in general during the whole process or just making sure that I'm careful for a particular step?

Also the frame dents should be straightened out with pliers or a similar tool.

@jermia The whole process
