Right ear cup stabilizer broken.

Hey everyone! Technically a question for the Arctis 7 Wireless model, but they are close enough in how they are built. On the place where the speaker assembly connects to the rest of the structure, there is a very small tab that prevents the speakers from rotating freely. That broke on my right speaker and know it can do a full 360. Any idea for a fix? What would be the smallest repair part I could buy? (With the smallest part being the tab and the biggest, replacing the headset all together).

Thanks!

As seen here the right one shouldn't be able to turn like this:

In this image, you can see the left one which is okay:

And finally, the right one which is missing the little tab:

Hi @hellomacos

I went ahead and added the images. Thanks for the feedback!

As you can tell this wasn't a very accessible place so the pictures may be disorienting. If you have any further questions feel free to ask!

Thanks!

@Ilias Kaleridis

Do you have the little piece that snapped off?

par

@hellomacos Sadly no. As you can see it is a tiny piece and, to be honest, I didn't even realize I broke it. :/

@Ilias Kaleridis

As far as I m know you have two option here

1)buy a new part

Or

2)get some mouldable epoxy and make a new one (piece that snapped off)

If I were you I would use the epoxy as it’s shite strong stuff however you could have to be careful with it in the future as it won’t be as strong as the original plastic unfortunately;-{
