iPod video 30gb screen turns white after little use..

Hi, I own a 30GB iPod Video, and the screen on it has gone completely white. Before there are any answers, here's somethings to think:

1- Music and audio can be heard, but you cannot tell what song it is (No cover art or title)

2- It has been reformatted, restored, opened, and troubleshooted multiple times.

3-"Little use" refers to putting it in my pocket walking around, playing music.

4-I've hard reset it multiple times, and even tried diagnostics, it beeps, but you can't see any of the tests.

5-The problem started yesterday, and yes; the cables have been reseated.

Please, help me figure this out as I want to use the video, and know what song I'm playing.
