Blue screen of death

Hello I was using my laptop with no problem since I got it so I tried updating windows and it was stuck on %100 so I restarted my laptop thinking everything would normal ones it's on but I got the blue screen instead with critical process died stop code , I have tried everything but nothing works resetting,startup repair, uninstall updates nothing works but when I try system restore I have to tick a little box on the disk I'm using but I don't have a mouse pointer to tick the box, please help me.

@vybzonline update which part of Windows? Update to what?

@oldturkey03 I was updating the windows 10 because it was not up to date.

How to fix a Blue Screen of Death on a Windows PC

Uninstall incompatible software.

Run a memory checker.

Check for hard drive errors.

Remove non-essential peripherals.

Replace defective or incompatible expansion cards.

Run Setup Diag after a failed Windows update.

Perform a clean install.

Hello I will suggest you the following.

  1. Use specialized BSOD repair software.
  2. Uninstall critical third-party programs.
  3. Run SFC.
  4. Check all drivers if any driver is outdated update driver.
  5. Backup your data and clean install Windows
