Dome light not working
Need a lighting wiring schematic for the driver side door and rear driver side door to see what wire turns the dome light inside. Thank you 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500

@elcharrua, This is the complete electrical manual for the 2008 Light Duty trucks (not 1500 specifically). I’m on my iPad at the moment and Chrome here doesn’t allow me to search in the PDF, so I can’t tell you which page exactly it’s located on.

@elcharrua, Just a question: Have you checked the door switch for operation / continuity? If the door switch is bad, the dome light cuts out.

I know the switch is good because the display shows the door open. I think the previous owner did some incorrect wiring to the doors when they were replaced. I compare the wire harness from the right side door and the left side door and they do not match. The only function not working is the dome light. Thanks if you can help
