So, i accidentally spilled water on my ps4, it still works perfectly fine but i unplugged it and is letting it airdry, does this mean that its okay if its working fine??

Yes and no. Water isn't only a threat to electronics when wet. Most water has impurities that, in combination with the catalyst of water, will begin the process of corrosion. Ideally, you'd want to place the motherboard and/or the PSU PCB in an ultrasonic cleaner to scrub away any such impurities, even where you personally cannot reach, but liquids can.

As Dan wrote - it can, but it does not have to work properly all the time. Flip it upside-down while air-drying, to avoid any possibility that a water drop will "drop" on the motherboard inside the console. You should let the console dry in such position.

I would argue don't disturb the console until you have reason to believe it's already dry. Changing its orientation seems like it would just allow whatever liquid is in there to reach more places than it can by just sitting there.
@dushku I would also argue - the gravity does not need any reason. It is a matter of seconds - unplug and 180 flip. This way you save components inside and liquid will flow outside the chassis, instead making its way inside.
