Anyone completed a battery repair/replacement?
Mine has just stopped taking charge.
Oh, the on button is broken as well...
EDIT:
It's the Theragun Elite (https://www.therabody.com/uk/en-gb/elite...) from a few years back - there is no swappable battery. Will post pictures tomorrow.

@ststom I would check videos like like this one (lot's of smack talk) to get to the circuit boards (that'll help for the switch repair). As for the repair, not sure if you are thinking of repairing the batteries. That is actually relatively easy to do. All you need to do is to crack the case open and replace the 4 18650 2500mAh 30A (LR1865LD) batteries. Cost is about USD $6-$8 per piece. The cells are identical between Theragun models, but there seem to be changes in battery controller.

While you replace your battery and fix your switch, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. @ststom looks like the same pain to take it apart, but I like the battery better. No hard case. Plastic wrap can be cut and removed. I would even bet it's the same cells in there :-)

Hi all, I've also got this issue and have tried following the video above, but the casing on the Pro and the Elite are different. I've removed the plastic cover and all the screws, but can't see a way in after that - I don't want to wreck the casing any more than I already have. Did you take pics @STSTom ?

How do I open the case on the Theragun Elite to access the battery?
Wanted to post an update here since it looks like h1791story hasn’t yet.
I was having a problem with my unit showing that it was charged to 100%, but once disconnected, it would not turn on. When I would plug it in again, the charging indicator showed 0% and the process would reatart
I opened my Theragun Elite and tested the 18650 batteries with a multimeter - read as 0.3 V each, so this confirmed that there was a problem with the battery to the point where it wasn’t able to be recharged anymore. It seems the internals are not truly in sync with the battery, so it would read as charged to 100% even though the battery was not accepting charge at this low voltage.
I am a beginner at spot welding and handling 18650 batteries, but it was fairly easy to disconnect the 3 native batteries from the circuit and spot weld 3 new batteries (I purchased 2500 mAh 20A from bulkbattery) that were in series. I wasn’t able to record, but there are tons of guides on YouTube on how to spot weld 18650s, so I would reference any of those.
Once connected, the unit works again and also has an accurate charging indicator. Hope this helps someone - I am an absolute beginner with DIY projects but this was very manageable and fun to learn about the capabilities of 18650 li-ion batteries. Happy to answer any questions!

Hey I’ve got the new batteries in and the unit is running however I didn’t write down how I needed to hook up the red and the black cables coming out of the board that’s in the battery pack for charging. Anyway I attach it I’m not gaining any charge. Do you know how those were wired or have pictures?
