Panasonic Viera TH-P65ST50A 3D Plasma TV turning off by itself

“Hi I've got a Panasonic Viera TH-P65ST50A 3D Plasma TV (Built in 2012) which has recently started to shut itself off after 5-10 minutes and goes into standby mode with the red light blinking. I normally turn it off by the power button on the TV and then turn it back on. It sometimes does this another 2 to 3 times before it stays on completely. Can this be fixed?”

Hello,

Before assuming it is a physical issue, try taking a look at the settings. Does your TV have an OSD (On Screen Display)?

If it does, try taking a look at the Power and Sleep section, or something like that. If there is no luck tweaking settings, it might be a hardware issue and may require a teardown and assessment. I hope this helps!
