Hello! I know this isn’t really a “repair”, but I was wondering if it was possible to remove hacks from a DSi? I was thinking about buying a DSi but it has games downloaded on a micro SD. As a retro game collector, I want all original versions of the games. If I remove the micro SD, will the console still function normally?

If you mean game cards, homebrew won't affect you at all. If you really want it gone though, the process depends on how it's been modded. If it doesn't have unlaunch installed, just wipe the sd and you're good to go. If it does have it, which it probably would, you can set all the autoboot options to "launcher" and you'll almost definitely never notice a difference. The other option is to uninstall unlaunch, which carries a brick risk requiring a NAND backup + hardmod to recover from. I don't recommend this at all, but if you do it anyway, follow this guide carefully, and always keep backups
