Not just a Shark, it’s a Jaws!

I do love my shark so well I renamed it Jaws. My beater bar hasn’t been turning the past couple times I’ve tried to use it. Found online instructions for taking it apart and have the belt housing out. The wheels for the bars turn smooth but the motor don't it clicks rather then turning smooth. Is this normal?
