I connect it to the plug to the computer and it turns on for 15 min then is turns off it does this constently while connected when not connected dosent turn on at all thinking its the battery...

emanuel rosario, i do agree with your assumption. It sure sounds like you have to replace your battery. Here Remplacement de la batterie de l'iPod Nano 5e génération is the how-to. It is a bear to do and you will need good eyesight and a steady hand to get it done, but definitely do-able:-) good luck.
