Hi Devin,
Sorry to report that we don't have a guide for you here on iFixit, but I did locate just what you need over at the Spanish site Nadie Me Llama Gallina.
Manuales / Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 / Battery
You can find replacement batteries on all the major sites like Amazon, eBay and AliExpress. Here's an example that came up on my cursory search.
Good luck with your repair; this one looks pretty straight-forward so I'm sure you can do this! Let us know how it goes.

I fixed it! I finally got the glue and now that I am applying it I thought I'd give you an update. However I do not have a whole lot of pictures. I can tell you that the hardest part has just been screwing the three tiny screws back in. But it can be done with a steady hand or a helping hand. Thanks again for all the help.

@devinf4829 of course, you can always follow the iFixit guide found here Remplacement de la batterie du Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0"

@oldturkey03 Actually, I didn't include a link to that as those are described as model numbers T280 and T285, while Devin's appears to be a T500. The Tab A7 is apparently a different device from the Tab A 7.0.

It is indeed different. Thank you for your answers though. It's actually hard to find this exact tablet anywhere.

@dadibrokeit you are absolutely right. My oversight between the A7 and the A7.0
@devinf4829 Use this manual Samsung SM T500 SM next to the excellent guides provided by @dadibrokeit to fix your A7 Remember, where Samsung uses an AOD, mere mortals like us use a heat gun :-)
While you work on your Tab A7, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has the same problem as you do. iFixit can definitely use a couple of good guides on this device. It's easy and fun to create these guides. https://ifixit.com/Guide/new The iFixit community will appreciate this.

Thanks for the tips! I did just find this guy on the tube but I'll post the link here. I will try to get as many pictures as I can. I actually have to wait for the battery kit and glue to arrive. That actually might take some time to get here. Thankfully I was able to get the swollen battery off without puncturing it. So far so good. https://youtu.be/nDtFKlcNHxE
