Why won’t the right joystick work?

The right joystick won’t work whatsoever but all the other buttons work fine. I’ve tried everything that I read online . I cleaned it,reset it,etc and nothing works. Ended up buying a new controller and the right joystick still doesn’t work. I also got the remote play and the joystick still doesn’t work .I don’t know what to do. Is it the ps4 itself? I really need help.
