My battery is 200% dead. Best Buy says the battery cannot be replaced

Despite what Best Buy says, it looks like your site is saying yes, the battery can be replaced. Is that correct? My model number is HP Spectre Model x360 Convertible - Model 13-ac033dx ~ got around 2016. When the power cord is removed it shuts off immediately. Leading up to the death of the battery, it was giving overheating messages on the black screen when shutting down/restarting it.

@wh5trpysvqbml3o Best Buy? Who is that :-)? Even HP must disagree with what they are telling you. Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the Model numbers: 13-ac000 – 13-ac099 Sprectre Model Numbers 13 Ac000 – 13 Ac099 Page 26 tells you what to do.

@wh5trpysvqbml3o really nothing needed but a couple of Phillips screwdrivers. The better thing to do would be to use tools like this It has everything you need and is good quality stuff :-)
