Cannot open the card/batt compartment. Seems stuck.

I cannot get the card/batt compartment to slide open. It appears to be stuck. No batteries are installed. Took to Best Buy-No help from them. ☹️

Do you know that this battery compartment opens by sliding it to the rear?

You're not trying to pull it open, are you?

It slides, THEN opens.
