iPad Pro 12.9 "faceid not working". what to replace?

So my iPad Pro 12.9 2018 tells me that Face ID is not working when I boot it up. Apple told me that the sensor is broken and wants 700 € for a replacement. Front camera is still working, only Face ID and brightness sensor do not work. So what do I have to replace and what would that cost in parts ?
