Montitor resolution off center

Hello all.

I just got an old windows 98 PC to play some older PC games on. I am trying to get some drivers installed on it as I just setup a fresh install of Windows 98 on it. My GPU is a Viper v770. I noticed that on games like quake and half life that they were extreamly dark and the textures looked odd. I decided to install drivers for my gpu. I burned an ISO of the old driver disc and installed them off of that. Now my montiors picture is off center. I've attempted to change to every resolution possible from the dropbox and it stays off center. Even with the weird resolution it still has not resolved the issue of everythinf in-game being extreamly dark.
