you guys are not reading the question. Not asking about iPhone 4 at all! only the new versions of the iPhone 4S. What are the part differences. I do not worry about the differences between iPhone 4 and 4S.

there are 2 types of iPhones. iphone4 CDMA looks like iphone4s from inside and outside but this does not support sim card. there is no space where you can put the sim card.

iphone4s are also again 2 types.

1 is GSM phone and other is CDMA+ GSM. other one also known as world's phone. you can use both GSM sim and CDMA service in this phone.

the parts are almost same as all in these 3 phones. all are same just difference in logic board. you can use any part from these for interchanging to checking the working condition.

There are 3 types of iPhone 4S manufacture configs.

GU_US, GSM/UMTS USA/Asia variant

GUC_US, GSM/UMTS/CDMA variant

They are completely identical in hardware, but the GUC ones are provisioned with CDMA baseband data, that's the only way to use CDMA.

The third one is GU_EU, most parts are identical, with slightly different top antenna to pass European RF regulations

LCD/Digitizer are identical and so are all of the other parts. The only exception, of course, is the logic board.

What about the Bezel. It is not the same but are the screws for the lcd/digitizer in the same spots. Do you have to keep a stock of CDMA and GSM? Are they different. I know the battery, vibrator, cameras, loudspeaker module, charging port, home button and home button flex, are the same.
