Is fingerprint working after replacement with copy display

I purchased a 1+ 7 mobile phone I worried about the display of my phone because i am not sure that the display is original or not .The vendor told me that if the display had replaced then the fingerprint sensor will not work but in my mobile phone sensor work anyone tell me that is this right that my mobile phone's display is original or it may be copy display
